SAIC has an immediate opening for a Data Collections Metadata Processing Analyst to work out of our Washington DC office. The DX Enclave DXE Program is a CommunityofCommonConcerns program which provides a Common Analyst Platform based on the DoDIIS Service Oriented Architecture SOAWebOriented Architecture WOA framework to enhance analysis and HUMINT targeting efforts. One of the key functions is the data collections processing and overall management of the data process.
The project leadership needs a Data Collections Processing Analyst to assist the data ingestionprocessing team in three primary areas
a Coordinates the resolution of productionrelated problems in data collections and management
b Ensures proper relationships are established between data customerusers teaming partners and data vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services i.e. status of processed data processed data updates to data through reingestion better algorithms or new data elements
c Provides users with computerbased outputs and outcomes based on the original data stewardship and vendor agreements. Coordinates and monitors staff operations for data collection and processing.
Other duties may be assigned consistent with the overall mission and purpose of the DXE project.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE SKILLS Including overall years of experience for each
Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline and 9 years of applicable experience is required Master's degree is preferred.
Design and implement workflow processes in conjunction with the DXE project technical staff to identify RFI data sets determine data processing needs assign data processing taskssubtasks monitoring data processing progress through Jira software we will train in Jira develop workaround solutions in conjunction with the team and closeout data processing tasks with handoffs to the data researcherslibrarian.
Develop metrics which help track progress and provide periodic reports businesstype graphics and written summaries of the data collections and processing processes on the DXE project website.
Identify process improvements develop specific actions implement the improvements monitor performance and outcomes and assess valuebenefit and costs of the proposed improvements.
Assist with other projectrelated duties which may include trainingfamiliarization crossagency or crossorganization negotiations of data set collections draftreview data MOUs Memorandum of Understanding or SLA Service Level Agreements and general project quick response tasks.
Must be a team player value collaboration and coordination and be a good task leader and task manager.
Candidate must possess an active TSSCI clearance with the ability to pass a CI Polygraph
DESIRED SKILLS
Direct experience with managing collection requirements and data processing.
Active duty or Reserve military experience
