Eastwood College has an immediate opening for a talented and motivated Visual Artist Intern to assist the organization's inhouse Art team. Our team is passionate about design and committed to creating conceptdriven imaginative and relevant pieces that live up to Eastwood College's high standards of creativity. There is a strong emphasis on adapting and creating art work for our academic and public programs. Other projects include competing in the LAU and AUB Arts and Science fairs and conceptualizing and executing artistic projects within that realm.
The Visual Arts Intern will operate within the Arts Department where she will work with the Art Teacher to create paintings sculptures and all type of visual arts for Eastwood College's public and private initiatives. Specific responsibilities may involve any of the following helping students with art projects working collaboratively with artistic concepts designing print ads for Eastwood College Arts Fairs helping prepare of University Arts Fairs adapting existing designs to work in various formats photo manipulation and print production.
This is a highlevel internship for a student entering into their final year or a recent grad.
Skills a successful candidate should have
Degree or working towards a degree in Visual Arts graphic design
Strong conceptual skills sophisticated design sensibilities creative typographic solutions
Ability to offer a variety of design options
Efficient and flexible and should work well with others in a fastpaced environment
Organization attention to detail problem solving timemanagement skills
