SAIC has an immediate job opening for a Financial Analyst to work at our facility in San Diego CA.
JOB DESCRIPTION The Financial Analyst will be part of an integrated team working to create a consolidated execution and financial model from legacy business processes. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the execution of all phases of data architect and modeling efforts including identifying the business problem data exploration statistical modeling communication of final results and post implementation monitoring. The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for the analysis interpretation and translation of data findings. Position will also require strong user design and interface experience UIUX with Navy website applications including user graphics storyboarding and mockups.
Additional roles and responsibilities include
Analyzes and develops logical UIUX designs data models and relational database definitions across multiple TACNET functional areas environments
Utilizes skills and expertise in data management best practices to include business need analysis data source identification and analysis data modeling techniques metadata and master data management standards to deliver data solutions that support business need
Provides data element naming consistent with standards and conventions and ensures that data dictionaries are maintained across multiple database environments working with the cross disciplinary functional teams.
Consults with technical database teams and client areas in resolving questions during the translation to a physical database design
Provides indepth consulting to data stakeholders in the identification and resolution of information flow and content issues
Performs data extraction transformation and loading ETL from multiple data sources such as REMEDY CMPro SAILOR website and financial spreadsheets.
Develops analytical datasets to support statistical modeling
Develops solutions for monitoring and reporting model performance quality and reliability.
Develops reusable processes and methodologies for delivering analytical models in a structured fashion.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in BusinessEconomicsFinance from accredited college andor university.
Certification in agile software development such as PMIACP or Certified Scrum Master CSM
Minimum of 3 years of like experience with cost and statistical modeling with emphasis on budgeting forecasting modeling and developing business plans
Minimum of 3 years experience with PEO C4I programs and processes with focus on PMW160 hardware and software variants and ship modernization process
Minimum of 3 years experience in project status reporting EVM reporting CPI EAC ETC etc.
Minimum of 7 years of financial background experience including auditing analysis forecasting and statistical benchmarking
Experience with Navy Enterprise Data Center NEDC business processes including DIACAP CampA process eMASS familiarity ATOIATO accreditation process
Expert Microsoft Excel skills with abilities to model what if scenarios and analysis
Experience with translating complex data points into simple and easy to use user interface UI
Active Secret Clearance required
