ABOUT SSH DESIGN
SSH formerly Salem AlMarzouk and Sabah AbiHanna was founded in Kuwait in 1961. Since then we have expanded to become one of the MENA region’s leading Architecture and Engineering firms.
We played a key role in the planning design and delivery of modern Kuwait’s infrastructure. We have led many landmark projects that have reshaped the nation’s skyline enhanced its urban fabric improved transportation networks and promoted economic growth.
Today SSH International employs 500 people and has offices in Kuwait Oman Abu Dhabi and South Africa. We are currently ranked at number 97 in the world by World Architecture Magazine and at number 8 in our region.

Job Description

Main responsibilities Evaluate and interpret specific requirements from data received from the Project Manager andor the Client to identify issues that may influence the development of concept designs.

Facilitate the development of the production team structure size and composition and a project time schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager throughout the duration of a project to establish realistic and achievable project goals with prudent time schedules.

Apprise the Head of Department completely on the status of all projects being managed.

Create or oversee the creation of concept designs to facilitate the approval thereof by the client.

Oversee the Architects in the modification of the approved concept design into a functional and efficient schematic arrangement that is effectively coordinated with the other disciplines Engineering QS.

Ensure that statutory authority submissions are timeously developed checked and verified for submission in the correct format and that interim submissions for review by the client or other parties are timeously completed and meet contractual obligations.

Supervise the Architects and other team members to ensure that design development is accurate reflects the design intent and is well coordinated with other disciplines.

Manage the production of the working drawings details various schedules and the preparation of the Specifications and Tender Documents in accordance with the agreed time schedule and implement appropriate

Requirements

University qualifications B Arch BSc Arch or Diploma in Architecture.


Previous experience Minimum 10 years experience in an architectural or multidisciplinary practice with proven experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities speciifed above.

Must be fully CAD literate AutoCad.

Must be able to handle at least 2 projects simultaneously depending on size and comp more...
