Rotana Corporate Office We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Projects professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of service and provide creative solutions.
As an Architect you will be responsible to provide technical support and professional advice to internal and external parties with regards to hotel designs technical details coordination site interventions and visits. Additionally you will be required to provide technical drawings for specific areas within a hotel project and operate technical software to help in problem solving and compile weekly and monthly updates and reports to the Director of Interior Design Operations whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as
• Prepare information and or advice on design structure specifications materials colour equipment etc.
• Consult with Projects Department Team Client and Project Manager Consultants to determine functional and spatial requirements of hotel projects
• Coordinate activities of Project Consultants and Architects engaged in designing hotel projects for Rotana
• Review project layouts with the ability to see details at close range
• Check and review if engineering elements are integrated into one unified design and ensure full coordination of different trades
• Review and prepare scale drawings for the purpose of clarifying design intents design directions enhancements and design suggestions
• Attend meetings as required for the purpose of reviewing design proposals submissions and projects presentations
• Assist in periodic site meetings during design and or construction to monitor full compliance with agreed design parameters and approved drawings and documentation
• Prepare periodic project updates and reports to be submitted to the CVP Projects and or Director of Interior Design Operations
• Use computer systems to program set up functions or process project information mainly AutoCAD latest version Photoshop Office and any related design software
• Assist in developing design standards for the benefit of the brand and in line with the company’s vision
• Provide documentation detailed instructions drawings and specifications to inform consultants on functionality or any other project related issue
• Be knowledgeable of laws legalities local codes tourism authority requirements etc. and check on compliance with local authority rules and regulations Skills Education Qualifications Experiences
You should have an architecture or interior design degree with previous experiences in a similar role and a proven track record. A good command of written and spoken English is essential.
