Job descriptionThe purpose of the Event Coordinator role is to support the Events Team in all aspects of event planning. Working under the Events Team led by the Events Director including the Associate Events Director Event Managers and the Senior Event Manager you will be responsible for various elements involved with the daytoday management of Events client base to ensure these events run efficiently together with the support of the Directors. This role will involve working on taskoriented projects that require good organisational skills and the ability to juggle many projects simultaneously.   Main responsibilities includeProviding administrative support to the Events department Liaising with event suppliers â hotels av suppliers graphic designers airlines florists tour companies etc Setting up meetings with clients suppliers and other agency staff Maintaining clear and consistent communication between clients and DABO CO Meeting deadlines and prioritising tasks Gaining and maintaining familiarity with the client's product business culture and competition Coordinating the daytoday running of designated Agency accounts Monitoring and tracking RSVP status for event attendance â database management and calls Microsite management â coordinating room bookings RSVP status for group booking events regional and overseas Assisting in researching designing developing implementing and coordinating routine client projects Contributing ideas to program development for the client and for new business proposals Assisting with new business pitches and presentation development client activity report more...
