Office Administrator Design Firm
Your role as Office Administrator will be to provide support to all staff within the studio and executive support to Directors. Your duties will be revolved around ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office as well as managing visitors calls supplies and maintenance and daily general administrative tasks and functions.
Responsibilities include
Managing a team of 10 designers and draftsmen to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work for projects
Delegating work to relevant people within the team and ensuring the quality of the finished designs
Commercial involvement in assisting the project teams with regards to costs for each section of the project designs
Overseeing any outsourced work for quality time taken and final costs
The development of KPI and targets to ensure work is carried out within realistic timescales and that the quality of the designs is to the standards required
Managing the workload of the designers to ensure the best use of resources
Dealing with day to day developments and providing sufficient resource to overcome any immediate issues
Some hands on design work but managing is the main focus
Involvement with other interested stakeholders through all stages of projects to provide technical guidance and support.
Skills
To secure this role you will need to be able to demonstrate
Previous experience in a similar role exposure to the Design or Architecture industry would be an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Creative Suite Indesign and Photoshop
Personal skills including being organised and proactive
You must be well presented with strong communication skills
