Job description.The Marketing Manager MENA reports to the Marketing Director Central Asia Middle East Africa CAMEA and has one direct report the Marketing Assistant MENA. The MENA Marketing team is also composed of a Junior Marketing Manager MENA looking after the Fine Fragrances category and Graphic Design and reporting directly to the Marketing Director CAMEA.The Marketing Manager MENA is involved in all Consumer Products categories Fabric Care Home Care Personal Care and countries in the MENA region.The role involves the following objectivesCategory Market ExpertiseBrands Tracking be involved in some of the weekly store checks conducted in Dubai in order to track launches relaunches and promotional activities of major brands in all relevant Consumer Products categories. Track brands activities ATL and BTLEnsure that the Internal Global Online Product Database is updated for the Middle East North Africa region personally manage the Powder Detergents category update and provide guidance to the Marketing Assistant MENA track the monthly cleaning processBecome the category expert for all Consumer Products categories in the MENA region attend research in the different countries gather and digest all relevant information market data consumer understanding olfactive preferences... related to these categoriesUpdate all major existing MENA Market Overviews presentations regardless of the Consumer Product category and country on a regular basis at least once a year to reflect the new activities amongst key brands as well as the relevant quantitative and qualitative information related to the market market size and market shares consumer usage and attitudes insights. Analyse the trends in terms of products ingredientsclaims benefits... Include information on brand strategy advertising and PR support. Prepare new Market Overview presentations when requested for categorycountry not previously tracked within the MENA regionKeep track of Global trends and trends in other regions via presentations prepared by counterparts in the other regionsStrategic BrandClient MarketingManage all MENA requests related to Consumer Products categories for local regional and international clients. Prepare presentations gap analysis strategic recommendations including new concepts claims pack designs the later developed with the support of the Junior Marketing Manager MENA in graphic design and fragrance submissions developed by the Evaluation teamWork in partnership with the Consumer Market Research and Evaluation MENA teams to proactively identify new business opportunities for clients. Prepare presentations to support recommendationsPresent to clients travel will be involved. The presentations presented would have either been prepared in the region or by counterparts in other regionsCreative InspirationOrganize internal creative events for the Evaluation Perfume Creation Sales and Market Research teamsManage and develop the Marketing Assistant MENAConfirm the categories countries and brands of focus for the Internal Global Online Product DatabaseEnsure that the Internal Global Online Product Database monthly cleaning process is done accurately and on timeGuide the Marketing Assistant MENA in the preparation of her biannual MENA newsletterHelp develop the presentation skills of the Marketing Assistant MENA Market Overviews updateâ¦Education Degree in BusinessManagementMarketingExperience 5 to 10 years experience in Marketing FMCG preferably nonfood.
