As the primary electrical interface between local and corporate electrical engineering and Operations teams the Senior Electrical Engineer is accountable to the Power Team Leader for the provision and application of technical excellence on all issues related to the operability and reliability of the Low Voltage LV High Voltage HV electrical generation and distribution systems in Mukhaizna. Engineering degree preferred in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of technical work experience in electrical transmission distribution and generation systems in oil gas operations or similar environments e.g. beam units ESPs power generation high voltage distribution systems substations equipmentenddevice protection and power quality.Experience in modeling of electric distribution transmission and generation systems modeling acumen to include load flow short circuit motor starting stability load shed protective device coordination arcflash hazard analysis etc. with computer software ETAP Easy Power EDSA SKM or similar.Experience with protective relays circuit reclosers variable frequency drives VFDs un power systems UPS low and high resistance grounding systems circuit breakers power and distribution transformers synchronous machines medium voltage switchgear and motor control centers MCC large medium voltage motors high voltage substations transmission and distribution lines.Experience with electrical reliability and efficiency power quality power management systems electrical SCADA and GIS applications.Good working knowledge of International Electrical and Electronics Engineers IEEE standards and guidelines Electrical Safety in the Workplace NFPA70E and safety standards.
